How Does It Work?

Have you been eyeing a Jay Strongwater masterpiece? Are you ready to see how it fits into your home? We are now offering a “Look-see, risk-free” program where you will be able to test out any of our Jay Strongwater masterpieces for a 5-day trial period. During this trial period, a pre-authorization will be placed on your credit card, but you will only be charged if you chose to purchase the item. Your masterpiece will come with a pre-paid return shipping label should you wish the return the product.  If you are interested in learning more about this program, or if you are ready to try out one of our masterpieces risk free, please call 1-800-640-0546. At this moment, the only way to participate in the try before you buy program is to speak to our customer service team. Available for customers in the United States only at this time.

How do I try before I buy?

1.) Contact our customer service representative Lauren by calling 1-800-640-0546 or emailing kEncEmaildvtupnfstfswjdfAkbztuspohxbufs/dpn. She will then place the order for you.

2.) We will only do a pre-authorization on your card to make sure it is an active card.

3.) Your product will be shipped out the next business day.

4.) Once you receive your product, you have 5 days to try it in your home and decide if you love it!

5.) If you do not absolutely love the masterpiece, please use the same shipping box the piece came in as well as the pre-paid shipping label. Contact our customer service to ensure they know you will be returning the product and you do not want to purchase.

 

Why is there a charge on my credit card that is pending?

This is simply a pre-authorization done on your card to make sure it is an active card. After your trial period, if you do not return your product or contact us, we will charge your card for the complete total. A credit card pre-authorization is much like any other charge to a credit card, except instead of actually debiting funds from the cardholder you just put a temporary "hold" on the funds that lasts for 5 days. At a technical level, the actual duration of the hold depends on the merchant classification code (MCC code).

If you choose to return your masterpiece, let our customer service team know and we will not charge your card and the pre-authorization will drop off your card.

 

Why do you need my credit card?

We require a valid credit card on file in order to ship your masterpiece. You will not be charged unless you decide to keep your masterpiece or do not contact us to return the masterpiece after 5 days.

 

Will I be charged if I return the masterpiece?

You will not be charged if the masterpiece is returned in its original condition in the box it came in.

 

Do I have to pay for any shipping?

No! We will cover the cost of shipping both ways. If you wish to send back the masterpiece, please use the original packaging and the included pre-paid shipping label.

 

Can I extend my 5-day trial period?
